Of course, this experience wouldn’t be possible without the Wood-Mode product. For more than 70-years, Wood-Mode has built a reputation for fashion-forward designs, superior quality, fine craftsmanship and a dedication to protecting the environment. Explore all these areas and learn why owning a custom-crafted Wood-Mode kitchen is an experience like no other.
From the first cabinet built in a small Pennsylvania lumber mill in 1942 to custom kitchens completed in our state-of-the-art facility today, each and every Wood-Mode cabinet is proudly made in the USA.
Seventy years of growth has not changed our approach to building cabinetry. The skill and dedication of the individual woodworker is still at the heart of Wood-Mode quality. Wood-Mode staff family includes as many as three generations of highly skilled craftsmen working side by side. From the selection of the lumber to our celebrated finish, a majority of the cabinetry making process is still completed by hand.
Since 1942, Wood-Mode quality has been the benchmark for the cabinetry industry and the pride of discerning homeowners. It’s an honor we take very seriously, and we protect the quality of our cabinetry and our reputation by treating every cabinet we create like a piece of fine furniture. The result is quality custom cabinetry built with care and precision for a lifetime of use.
The key to our quality is controlling every step of the cabinetry construction process right here at our facility in scenic Central Pennsylvania. Furniture grade lumber is hand-selected, then seasoned and kiln-dried on site until it meets the standards of use for fine furniture.
Every cabinet is finished, hand assembled, and individually inspected for quality. We even hand wrap each piece and ship it using professional furniture carriers – often including our own fleet of trucks – thus maintaining responsibility for the quality of your cabinetry from start to finish.
At the American Classic Kitchens showroom in the famous Manhattan A&D Building, admire the beauty of our premium veneer and solid wood doors, the richness and depth of our hand-rubbed finishes. Feel the smooth gliding motion of our soft close drawers. Examine the intricate detail in our hand-carved accents and decorative moldings. Once you see a Wood-Mode kitchen, you’ll understand why
designers and homeowners alike rate Wood-Mode among the best in custom cabinetry.
